HEY YOU! Yeah, you! Have you ever been bullied? Maybe yes, or maybe no, but I set up a survey for bullying, and here's what I asked:
1. Have you been the victim of bullying sometime this year?
40% said yes
60% said No.
2. Have you bullied anyone this year?
20% said Yes
60% said No
40% said not intentionally
3.Have you witnessed anyone being bullied this year?
100% said yes
4.What do witnesses and bystanders usually do when they see someone getting bullied?
20% said Laugh
60% said ignore it
40% said stop it
5. Do you think bullying is a problem at our school?
40% said yes
60% said no
So as you can tell, bullying can be a very big problem. Most people don't even realize they're doing it until they are informed by someone. If you are being bullying, or you are seeing someone get bullied, it is important to tell an adult as soon as possible.

Day Five.
We went to the orthopedist today so they could look at my knee since it's been bothering me. Turns out, in August, when I plummeted into a crosswalk, my knee cap banged into my thy bone and caused the cartilage in my knee to soften. What does that mean? No cheer or PE for the next two weeks, along with two weeks of physical therapy. If I go back and it's not well, then who knows what will happen. Oh the joys of my unlucky life...

First Post, yo.
"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." -George Santyana
We talked a lot in class about this quote and how if you don't remember something that happens it will most likely happen to you again without you knowing. For example, I have a condition where if I don't sleep, or drink enough then I'm bound to just randomly pass out. I know, it stinks, but it's happened so many times that I'm able to catch the symptoms before I actually fall. If I didn't pay attention to these symptoms, then it would just keep happening without me knowing until it happens. It's the same way with the Holocaust. I'm sure some survivors tried their hardest to block that horrid event from their memory, but look at the world now. In some countries it's the exact same it was 70 years ago. We always talk about it, but we just talk about how terrible it is without even paying attention to why we really talk about it. We never wanted that to happen again, but we're just listening and not actually doing anything. It's important for students to learn about the Holocaust so we have realization of why we need to keep it from happening more and more.
